As the highly accomplished Chief Purpose Officer at Conscious Innovation, she has passionately devoted herself to her vision of a world where both planet and life are valued and respected.

After previously filling roles such as CEO of a social enterprise, Network Lead, Public Sector Consultant, Philanthropic Programme Director, Awards Producer, Journalist, and Podcast Producer, Servane’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in her industry makes her an influential and inspirational leader for both Conscious Innovation and in the community around her.

In her work with Conscious Innovation, Servane’s core responsibilities involve strategy design and coaching delivery, working with corporate and charitable foundations, boards, government entities, institutional investors, and mission-led finance institutions. However, it’s her passion for education and social justice that truly fuels her dedication to her craft. Moreover, Servane lists the chance to “see people have meaningful insights and transform other people’s worlds and their own” as one of her industry highlights.

Highly skilled in topics such as Neuroleadership Coaching, Conflict Management Coaching, Foresight and Futures-Thinking, Systems Change, and Design Thinking, Servane applies her experience and know-how to businesses, community development projects, and gender equality initiatives. As a result, she is constantly striving to amplify people’s work and create meaningful learning opportunities.

Getting to Know Servane Mouazan

Servane Mouazan

With her enthusiasm and dedication, Servane strives to create an environment of independent thinking for those around her. She draws from her personal experiences of learning from professional activists, artists, thinkers, entrepreneurs, and teachers from a young age. She has witnessed the incredible potential of people to bring something unique and meaningful into the world. Now she works hard to replicate that in her daily life through coaching and acts of appreciation, feedback, acknowledgement, and gratitude.

Discussing her dedication to supporting others who aim to change the world, Servane said, “It’s important for me to spend time on, and support, people who work on creating a social and environment impact, inclusion, equity, and social and gender justice.”

Servane is quick to recognise the value and importance of soft skills and how confidently utilising them has helped her through challenging times. “I was able to come out of a difficult personal moment in my relationship, with a newborn, and on the verge of homelessness, and picked myself up, using communication skills, resilience, a growth mindset, and my network.” She said. “It was hard, and the first skill I used was actually asking for help and accepting I needed support.”

Servane’s remarkable combination of soft skills, such as empathy, resilience, problem-solving, leadership, and creative entrepreneurship, enables her to tackle difficult personal situations and stand up for her values. Her favourite quote, said by Marcelo Yuka (“Peace without a voice isn’t peace, it’s fear”), perfectly embodies the mentality that Servane adopts to motivate herself to be an active participant in making positive change for people who have been silenced or ignored.

Servane Mouazan at Growy

Servane has long recognised the critical role that coaching plays in personal development. When asked what has inspired her to teach through Growy, she answered, “I am passionate about being a thinking environment for others and seeing them think independently for and as themselves.”

Servane also forthrightly acknowledges the role that coaches have played in her development. Noting the essential friendships and collaborations that she has previously established, she told us, “This has been the most inspiring opportunity for me. I want to replicate it for others.”

In her collaboration with Growy, Servane will be offering her expertise on a host of fascinating topics. These include providing insights on how to foster creativity in individuals and teams, how to create a coaching culture in your organisation, how to build confidence and leadership, and mastering deep listening. But beyond these valuable skills, Servane also hopes to impart some of the values that are important to her.

The Power of Imagination

“I believe in the infinite power of your imagination, your sense of connectedness and audacious insights,” She said. “Sometimes these do not come to the surface easily, for various reasons. This is why I focus on providing you with a safe and imaginative space. One to explore and assemble your ideas and design actions that will help you move forward.”

Ultimately, Servane aims to offer her students a chance to develop their powers of independent thinking so that they can be a force of positive change in the world. However, she recognises that this takes time, guidance, and a certain amount of hands-on experience. When asked for advice that she would give to younger people, Servane’s response was concise yet empowering: “Listen deeply, don’t take things too personally, have a go, and have fun.”
