So instead of saying, “I have to make cold calls”, say to yourself, “I get to make cold calls” – it all becomes much easier with that small shift.” This empowering attitude, together with a tactical deployment of empathy and persuasive charm, has helped him overcome challenging situations, reminding us that we always have a choice in how we approach any task.
